What is Greenway Energy Solutions? Greenway is an all-in-one energy company encompassing both high-and low-voltage applications. It is our aim to be the best, the smartest and the most tech-savvy energy company out there. Whether it is alarm systems, computer and data networks, CCTV and camera systems or just good old-fashioned power and lighting installation and service, we want to be YOUR energy company for the 21st century.
Greenway wa s formed in 2010 in Tampa FL as an alternative to top-heavy, expensive and old-fashioned energy companies. We strive to take advantage of the latest in green and alternative technologies in an attempt to move the trade and science of electrical power forward into the modern era. The basic physics of electricity ensure that it will always be our main source of utilizable energy. However, we expect the way that electrical energy is generated and transmitted is going to change drastically in the next few decades. The changes are all around us now: from solar, wind, hydroelectric, etc., the ways that we produce energy are going to require a smaller carbon footprint and demand a cleaner and less polluting source of generating our most basic source of energy. The time is now! Electricity is non-polluting and completely clean with no hazardous waste products or long-term health effects to contend with“IF we generate it properly. In the spirit of the greatest electrical scientist ever, Nikola Tesla, we want to bring those benefits to the world in general and our customers in particular.
What type of work do we do here at Greenway Energy Solutions? We do all types of electrical work and we are low-voltage specialists. That means we bring an added level of knowledge and education to our installation and service of fire alarm systems, security and intrusion alert systems, card and protected access systems, camera and CCTV installations and data and computer network wiring. We also strive to bring you the maximum amount of awareness of what is going on at your business and residence at all times. With today’s networking technology and proliferation of devices designed to network with your world, there’s no reason why you can’t keep an eye on things whenever YOU want to, wherever in the world you  might be.
Low-voltage control systems can be viewed as the nervous system of a structure. Like the body’s nervous system, they supply data and information (input) to the brain and then respond to its commands (output). They sense danger or off-normal conditions, and allow the various systems in the building to respond to these situations. Fire alarm systems can simultaneously alert and evacuate building personnel while releasing suppression agents to help control the flames and smoke, shutting down air handlers and activating pressurization fans to keep paths of egress clear. Intrusion alarms coupled with cameras can reveal details of location and type of intruders or off-normal conditions within a structure, record the situation to preserve evidence and alert occupants to what type of situation or emergency might be occurring.
Greenway also operates as a traditional electrical installation company. We hold a Master Electrician’s License and are fully qualified to do any type of electrical wiring and installation.
